Mother Goose

Writer's picture: Pamela ShenskyPamela Shensky

For a good part of winter, I keep baby chicks, ducks, and one (mother) goose in my laundry room in a box with a light. When they were a bit older and the weather was not winter, they moved into the ‘adolescent’ coop outside. I also used that room as a makeshift greenhouse to start seeds for my summer vegetable garden. Well, today is the day of sendoff…saplings going outside to harden and into the world of early spring for 2 ducks and 1 little goose.

Happiness abounds…I hope you and I can find as much happiness today as the little ducks and mother goose…
